Dragon Ball Z: The Legend (PS1) DESCRIPCION:Dragon Ball Z: The Legend is a fighting video game produced and published by Bandai on March 31, 1996 in Japan for the Sega Saturn and PlayStation and in December of the same year in Europe for the Sega Saturn only.  Greatest Hits versions were released on June 20, 1997, for the Saturn and June 27, 1997, for the PlayStation. Dragon Ball Z: The Legend uses a unique gameplay system that is different from most other fighters. The graphics feature 2D sprites in a three-dimensional world. Although each battle begins on the ground, most of the action appears skyward. Characters fly around each other and use quick punches and kicks, and Ki blasts, either individually or rapidly by holding down the assigned button for a short period of time.  Characters have a limited amount of Ki that can be depleted with use and recharged manually or over time. Characters have two bars on screen that appear next to their face: these are health (green) and ki (yellow) respectively, if the player uses all of their available ki, their character will stop fighting due to exhaustion, leaving them wide open for an attack. Each character's life meter does not deteriorate with normal attacks, only Meteor Attacks manage to decrease a character's life.   The "Power Balance" is a scale that appears at the bottom of the screen composed of the energy of both sides that shifts depending on who has control of the fight, after one of the sides manages to fill the bar of its color (Red or Blue), the character controlled by the player will perform a special "Meteor Attack" (Meteor Attack), which takes place in a cut scene where the opponent is finished off with an attack characteristic of the character in question.
